First and foremost, Broadstone Methodist Church is a place where people can come to actively worship God and to share in prayerful praise of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Below are details of our regular acts of worship.

To listen to a recording of Sunday morning worship, please scroll down the page.

On our Events page, you can normally find dates and details of our alternative worship, including Café Church (also below) and Messy Church, as well as any special services coming up.

We invite you to share with us in praise.

Coronavirus: Our Church building is closed until further notice.
Further down this page are recordings of our morning worship from previous years, appropriate for the time of year.

Please go to our Events page for links to other audio and video worship resources.

Regular worship times are as follows:

  • Sunday 10.30am: Morning Worship, weekly. Includes Holy Communion once a month and a Family Service once a quarter
  • Sunday 6.30pm: Evening Worship, weekly, except when we have Café Church (see below).  Evening worship includes Holy Communion once a month
  • Friday 10.30am Shoppers' Service, a shorter 25 minute service for those with busy lives
  • Monday 6.45pm: Prayer Group in the Paul Mears Quiet Room
  • Wednesday 9.30am: Prayer Group in the Paul Mears Quiet Room

Our Sunday morning worship also includes a crèche facility and Junior Church sessions.

We digitally record all of our Sunday morning services so that anyone unable to join us still has an opportunity to be part of our worship. We also, from time to time, record some of the special services or concerts held here.

If you are unable to join us or would like like a 'taster' of our worship, then you can listen to or download one of our recent Sunday services listed opposite. Additionally, if there is any particular service that you would like a permanent copy of, then please speak to one of our Church Stewards who will arrange to have a CD copy prepared for you.

Café Church

Café Church takes place on the second Sunday on alternate months at 4.30pm.

The format varies, with the exception of tea and cakes which is always on the agenda!

We aim to consider topical challenges from a perspective of faith and subjects are diverse so there's no chance of getting bored!

Often issues do not have clear-cut answers and it is helpful to wrestle with one's thoughts alongside others, or maybe go home feeling challenged or uplifted.

Café Church is a relaxed alternative form of worship. We always have a time of prayer and usually a song or hymn, sometimes accompanied by our worship band. But each Café Church is different so you'll need to come along and discover for yourself!

We hope to welcome you soon.
