First and foremost, Broadstone Methodist Church is a place where people can come to actively worship God and to share in prayerful praise of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We meet in church for worship every Sunday morning at 10.30am. Morning worship includes Junior Church and creche sessions where new members will be made very welcome.
Every other month, usually on the second Sunday, we hold an afternoon Café Church. You will find more details of this further down the page.
Please see our Events page or weekly notice sheet for the dates and details of our services – including Zoom evening worship with Poole Bay Methodist Circuit and pre-recorded audio and printed services for "worship- at-home" use.
If there is a particular morning service at Broadstone Methodist Church that you missed, please speak to one of our Church Stewards who will be able to lend you a CD recording.
Café Church usually takes place on the second Sunday on alternate months at 4.30pm (with the exception of the summer months when we have a short break). Please see our Events page for dates of forthcoming services.
The format varies, with the exception of tea and cakes which is always on the agenda! We aim to consider topical challenges from a perspective of faith and subjects are diverse so there's no chance of getting bored! Often issues do not have clear-cut answers and it is helpful to wrestle with one's thoughts alongside others, or maybe go home feeling challenged or uplifted.
Café Church is a relaxed alternative form of worship. We always have a time of prayer and usually a song or hymn, sometimes accompanied by our worship band. But each Café Church is different so you'll need to come along and discover for yourself! We hope to welcome you soon.
