Sunday mornings
We warmly welcome children and young people to our services. We all meet together in the church sanctuary at 10.30am for 10 or 15 minutes of worship all together, then the children and young people go to their own Junior Church sessions elsewhere in the building. We also offer a crèche for the 'under 3s'.
Messy Church
10am – 12.30pm, one session in each school holiday.
If it's half-term and you are looking for something to do with the children, Messy Church always delivers. Imagine 10 tables of crafts with glitter, glue, paint – messy stuff indeed! In the first hour you and your children can work together to make beautiful creations to take home. Then downstairs to the sanctuary, where we sing and learn some important life stuff in a fun way. While this is happening, the fantastic mess upstairs disappears and a yummy lunch is ready and waiting for you all to enjoy. There is no set charge for Messy Church, though donations are welcome. Wendy House Toddler Group
Every Thursday in term time, 10am to 11.30am.
Our weekly toddler group is back! Bring your baby or toddler to play with our toys and to meet other young children while you have a chat over coffee and biscuits and enjoy watching your child at play. There is a small charge per session. Our last session of this autumn term will be Thursday 15 December 2022.
Thirsty Thursdays after-school group
Every Thursday in term time from 3.15 – 4.30pm.
This is a group for school children up to about Year 4 or 5 (we're flexible!) and their parent or carer. We meet in the Bradbury Hall on the upper floor of our church building, where there's plenty of space for games, crafts and other activities, including a 'Godly Play' storytelling slot.
